The Garces Food Service was established by Asteria Lastimosa Garces -Alviso in 1976. As a nutritionist by profession, it has been her passion to provide quality, healthy and affordable catering service for 50 people, up to a thousand guests! Within a year, she became the official caterer of the Boy Scouts Camp, Girl Scouts Camp Marina, Stella Maris, National Man Power and Youth Council, a number of banks, government offices and other business establishments in the City of Cebu.
A decade later, she opened the gates of our award-winning residential garden to host garden weddings for relatives and friends alike. The “words of mouth” spread widely and our humble domicile eventually earned its reputation and aristocratic name; The Garces Royal Garden.
In the early 90s, the garden’s first reception hall was built to provide flexibility to accommodate functions other than wedding receptions. The business reached out to cater various events like graduations, oath takings, inaugurations and even days-long seminars. The Garces Royal Garden eventually became a landmark of San Isidro Talisay on its own.
This year, 2012, the garden completed a major makeover to meet the challenges of a modern society and the dynamic booming city of Cebu. A brand new 2-storey reception hall was built even bigger in lieu of the old one. The Encarnacion Hall is fully air conditioned with 150 seating capacity. The Olympia Roof Top provides a cozy fresh air atmosphere to compliment your private celebration. Nevertheless, the garden’s landscape also went through a series of face lift to augment its royal status.
Behind the scenes and beyond the eyes of our guests, earnest efforts were undertaken to upgrade the kitchen and equipments to provide a suitable and hygienic work environment for our trained chefs and staff as they prepare your food.
